Prescriptions

Repeat prescriptions have to be adequately monitored and accordingly the practices prescription policy has been developed with this in mind.

To request a repeat prescription, fill out the repeat prescription slip that was attached to your last prescription and either post it or hand into the surgery. Alternatively you can call the practice and order a prescription but please wait until after 10.30am. A repeat prescription box is available just inside the door of the surgery.

If you want us to post your repeat prescription out to you, please enclose a stamped addressed envelope. Otherwise your prescription will be available for collection from reception. Please allow one week for posting and 48 hours for collection although we clearly try to process your request within 24hrs.

Some pharmacies collect prescriptions on your behalf so that you simply collect your made up prescription from one chemist. Please ask at reception for details.
